The Faro® G2 headset with active noise reduction (ANR) reduces cockpit noise up to 52 dB. The Faro® G2 uses a combination of passive noise reduction (PNR) and active noise reduction technology (ANR) to reduce ambient noise in the aircraft. Active noise reduction is achieved by placing a microphone inside the ear cup that listens to ambient noise and generates "anti-noise" into the speakers to cancel out unwanted ambient noise.

Model G2-AHBLACK is designed for use with helicopters and includes a coiled helicopter plug. Black in color.
