Detailed Description
IFR Enroute High Altitude Charts Conterminous U.S. provide aeronautical information for navigation under instruments flight rules at or above 18,000 feet MSL. Charts are revised every 56 days.
The IFR High Altitude Charts include:
- Jet route structure
- RNAV Routes
- VHR radio aids to navigation (frequency, identification, channel, geographic coordinates)
- Airports that have an Instrument Approach Procedure or a minimum 5000' hard surface runway
- Airway distances
- Reporting points and GPS/RNAV Waypoints
- Special Use Airspace Areas
The IFR Enroute High Altitude Charts are at a scale of 1 inch = 20 nm. Unfolded charts are 55 x 20 inches and folded to 5 x 10 inches.
