Instructors use the Classroom E6-B Trainer to support ground school lessons, while students follow along using their own flight computers. Completely functional, the Classroom E6-B has the same movable parts as standard E6-Bs. Instructors can teach students to perform time, speed, distance, fuel consumption, altitude, crosswinds corrections, and wind speed and direction calculations. They can also demonstrate how to use the E6-B for conversions, including:
